Comcast Fined $1.5 Million by FCC Over Third-Party Data Breach

As announced by the Federal Communication Commission on Monday, November 24, 2025, Comcast Corporation will pay a $1.5 million fine over a vendor data breach that exposed the personal information of about 237,000 customers

.It was reported that Financial Business and Consumer Solutions, FBCS, a debt collector used by Comcast, was compromised in 2024.
