CoreWeave Expands AI Cloud with Openpipe Reinforcement Learning Platform

Coreweave Inc., the AI Hyperscaler™,  announced an agreement to acquire Openpipe Inc., a leading reinforcement learning platform that helps agent learn from experience to achieve higher reliability 

Coreweave Inc., is an AI cloud computing company specialized in providing cloud-based Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) infrastructure to AI developers and enterprises. It was co-founded in 2017 by Michael Intrator (CEO), Brian Venturo, Brannin McBee and Peter Salanki.

Openpipe has built one of the most widely used open-source RL toolkit for training agents. In a press release, Kyle Corbitt, Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Openpipe, noted that Openpipe's technologies helps customers train highly reliable agents, bridging the gap between prototype and production.

Commenting on the acquisition, Venturo, co-founder and Chief Strategic Officer at Coreweave, stated that combining Openpipe's advanced self-learning tools with Coreweave's high performance AI cloud will be providing developers with an important advantage in building scalable intelligent system.

With this acquisition, Coreweave will integrate powerful learning and capabilities that provides enterprise and AI labs improved opportunity to train, adapt, and optimize their AI models.
