Neon App Pays Users for Phone Calls While Selling Anonymized Data to AI Firms

Obison Erudite trending news featuring Neon

Neon is a social app platform pays you for talking on the phone by recording their calls and selling data to AI firm, with user consent.

It works when two Neon users make a conversational phone call, then Neon filters out names, phone number, and every other personal details tracing back to the user. The conversations are sold to partners and AI companies, who use them to train AI models. Users are paid.

Neon records both sides of the call if both persons are Neon users; else, its records only one side if one person users Neon.

On App store, Neon claims that it pays $0.45 per minutes of phone calls made between Neon users and $25 for every successful referrals.It also stated that your personal information reminds anonymous provided that both persons are Neon users.
